Only Zurn PEX crimp rings should be used with QICK/SERT I fittings. Designed nearly three decades ago for new construction and professional plumbing applications, the Zurn PEX Crimp System utilizes high quality brass fittings and copper crimp rings to provide a connection which is stronger than the pipe itself. It's a "no sweat" PEX connection method designed to reduce installation time and plumbing costs. The Zurn PEX Crimp System eliminates the need for solvents, chemicals, solder, and flame. The Zurn PEX Crimp System is not only perfect for plumbing applications but can be used as a permanent connection to radiant heating manifolds, hot water baseboard, or even a repair coupling in radiant heating. When properly installed, the Zurn PEX Crimp System is a worry-free system! Zurn PEX Crimp System can be used with either Zurn PEX (Non Barrier) or Zurn PEX (Oxygen Barrier) tubing.
